You can use the same swim diaper from birth until your child is about 3 years old. Although an extra swim diaper with such nice prints is of course no punishment

Make sure that the swim diaper fits tightly around the legs and trunk, so that any stool cannot run out. There is no need for a disposable swim diaper under the HappyBear swim diaper! Urine does run through the swim diaper. The urine is broken down by the chlorine in the pool water. Did you know that a disposable swim diaper cannot absorb puddle, either? Otherwise, the whole swim diaper would suck up with all the water and you would have a very heavy baby.
